It's likely they'll release it at the end of this year to go on tour early next year.

I think they'll tease us with something in june or july with the album coming out august or september.

odyssey sounds like a cool title. or what about "Dreams and Nightmares" a mix of both.

who knows? maybe they'll scrap the title or add something else to it. we'll just have to wait and see.

I know. It's called viva la vida or death and all his friends. That album was their last great album. Mylo xyloto and ghost stories were good but way too poppy. Hopefully a head full of dreams won't sound like their last two albums. Something different would be great.

i'm excited too. Plus with new every album, comes new coldplay material! I hope they'll never stop making music.

Chris already said the album's going to be uplifting and colorful. It seems to me like they're recreating a sequel to mylo xyloto? I just hope a head full of dreams sounds more like viva and less like mx.

I'll be very disappointed if they make another pop album. 2 pop albums are enough. Go back to arobtth or viva style of music coldplay. You need to. Even x&y sound would be great.

Everyone has a say in the making of an album but it's usually chris and will that get the last word. The style of the album is all up to the band. The record label controls when the music will be released and in what format on cd or itunes for example.

OVERRATED SONG: viva la vida. i feel that it is the weakest song on the album. for me it's not as unique as the rest of the songs. OVERRATED ALBUM: a rush of blood to the head. don't kill me! haha. it's a great album but i think that x&y is even better. UNDERRATED SONG: what if. incredible song, my second favorite after politik, i always tear up after hearing it. UNDERRATED ALBUM: x&y. I feel that x&y is one of their best because of the overall sound of the album, sure the lyrics are not amazing but that album's sound is better than gs or mylo in my opinion. second best album only behind viva.

I've been a coldplay fan for a long time ever since their safety ep and their music has changed from album to album and they don't make the same album twice. Mylo and gs were similar. Both albums were synthy and poppy. They were ok albums but for this album if it's their last forever or if they go on hiatus, they won't go pop on us, i think they're going to go progressive rock. Even chris said gs was a one time thing. They know they can make better albums and I believe they're going to get edgier in the next album hopefully! But we'll just have to wait and find out :D

well, given that they had ideas for a head full of dreams before ghost stories was released, and since they've been working on the album since october of last year, they should be done with it in june or july. hopefully they tease us with something soon. or even better would be if they dropped the album with no warning :D

I don't we're gonna get another pop album, they already made enough pop songs. It would be cool if they would make a progressive rock album or an album like viva with real drums and guitars and not synthesizers or electronic drums. If they make another pop album, I will be very very disappointed. Fingers crossed they make a rockier album ✌️

A lot of the new coldplay songs are just songs that have coldplay samples

Both aurore boreale and autodance are songs that have coldplay samples in them but they aren't coldplay songs.

I'm glad there aren't 5 members, that would've been one too many.
