I used to play Pokémon Yellow, Red and Blue on my GameBoy Color way back when it first came out. Don't play it anymore though. I still play Spyro though, I don't know why I love it so much. Just like Coldplay, I think their music is heavenly. I'll always keep calm and listen to Coldplay. lol

You know, if you have those songs, and have some blank CDs, you could burn that list onto the disc on your computer, I do it all the time on Windows Media Player. I like to get my favourite songs and burn them to disc. It can be pretty fun experimenting what song blends in better in a certain order if you get what I mean?

That's partly the reason, but I also really enjoy it because it's so catchy, I also like how the beat stops to introduce the orchestra at the chorus, it's a beautiful up beat tune. And yeah, it does remind me of Spyro a little bit.

Well I don't care too much, because I was thinking more of Insomniac's Spyro, and not Sierra's, because that's when they butchered the series anyway.

Hurts Like Heaven is a great track, such a great way to start off the album. I do admit I prefer Coldplay's up beat songs rather than their slower ones, but I do like their slower ones as well.

I don't really enjoy the later Spyro games all that much, especially the "Legend of" series, I think they're a bit boring. I haven't played any of the handhelds though.

It will always be Rainy Day, love it. Unless their new album can top that song.

Well, okay, let me re-phrase, wouldn't it be cool if Coldplay got together a couple of years before Spyro came out, and got commissioned to produce music for Insomniac's Spyro? I think some of the sounds could be used, if you listen to the track "Ghost Story" I think the solo part for that song could've been used well in a Spyro game. This is all just a what if kind of thing. Ooh! A Spyro and Coldplay crossover fanfiction anyone? lol Let's just say I'm obsessed with the two.

I enjoy playing the first three Spyro games on the PlayStation 1 mostly. I mainly play them because they were a big part of my childhood, love Spyro to bits. What ones have you played? If you've played any?

1. Parachutes (2000) (Parachutes) [i think it's really pointless, if it went into an actual full length song then I wouldn't mind so much.] 2. Amsterdam (2002) (A Rush of Blood to the Head) [i'd rather Coldplay had just finished it with the song "A Rush of Blood to the Head" I find this song to start off too slow, and end off too predictable, it's not necessarily a bad song but it's one of those 'meh' ones. 3. Talk (2005) (X&Y) [i don't really like the way Chris sings this one, and the solo gets on my nerves after a while, it feels a little repetitive. But on certain occasions I can enjoy this song, depending on the mood; but most of the time it makes me feel "full up"] 4. Reign of Love (2008) (Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends) [Definitely one of the boring tracks of the album, I would not miss it if it was to be taken from the album, I always thought it ruined the "Lovers in Japan" track, but at least they re-released it as a separate track on it's own on the Prospekt's March EP, so they can be forgiven for that. Reign of Love doesn't really do anything for me, I consider it as a nothing song.] 5. Postcards from Far Away (2008) (Prospekt's March) [Annoyingly pointless once again, you know, a bit like the track "Parachutes". Don't get me wrong, I love the way the piano is being played, but it's too short, I want there to be more content in it.) 6. Don't Let It Break Your Heart (2011) (Mylo Xyloto) [Yet again, a nothing special song to me, I don't like the drum pattern, and the way good ol' Chris sings it. Just doesn't do anything for me.] 7. Another's Arms (2014) (Ghost Stories) [starts off promising, and I like the solo, but other than that, the lyrics, and the way he sings annoys me, it gets a bit repetitive with the "Another's arms-another's arms" and he sounds so depressing in this one, like not the usual soothing voice. But he most likely did that on purpose to add the effect, still don't like it all that much though.]

Wouldn't it be cool if Coldplay could've done music for the old Spyro games? But then again we wouldn't have had Stewart Copeland perform the soundtrack for Spyro to begin with. The closest Coldplay song that sounds a little bit like Spyro to me is Rainy Day.

X&Y is my favourite album, and The Hardest Part is one of my favourite Goonplay songs! I wish Coldplay included "The World Turned Upside Down" onto the album though, it should have been on there, especially since he mentions X&Y in the song.

Some of them I find to be really interesting, ones like "A Spell a Rebel Yell" and "The Goldrush". Do you like those ones?
