I was thinking how the arrogant often given cruel orders, play power games, feel nothing for those who suffer horribly from those orders, and at worst they get some minor reprimand for the atrocities they commit. Why the hell is that? Just finished watching Link TV on General Smith's order to massacre anyone over the age of 10 in the Philippines back in 1908, and Teddy Roosevelt's war-hawkish ways.. What a tragedy in human events..

Well, he never escaped from either death or taxes(:laugh3: unless you're him..), but he did manage to wriggle out of handcuffs and a steel cage in which was submerged.. And a whole host of other escape artist things - being handcuffed and tied to a RR track with a freight locomotive barreling towards him..

I am thinking: how nuts we are! We can have our cake, eat it too, and have enough left over to share with a thousand friends if we so choose!! The answers are so obvious, but often more obvious than we can see without first stepping back a bit and reflecting on the picture..

A world awash in plenty, and yet so many are starving; a world with enormous waste, yet better methods would have us almost drowning in a surplus, and having plenty of comfort.. A world where the possibilities are limitless, if we care enough to apply the mind and efforts in more intelligent ways..

I need to write a book about it. Seems like there's a dearth of problems, and the solutions are so obvious.. but it takes a combination of factors to bring about the change, including truly honest, intelligent representation, which I do believe is possible and essential as part of the answer.
