June 7, 200917 yr i was refering to chicken (animal) not person :p Maybe, but how could we possibly have known that??
June 7, 200917 yr marginalization sucks (kind of) I'm thinking that there's too much superficial bullshit in the country I'm in. All the snobs driving by, acting like they're lord and master of the world, locked in their cocoons here in status-symbol land. I don't care what they think of me - they're driving the planet's life to extinction, and if I drive a cycle car, that's the better choice for an ethical, caring person to do.:smug: Image is to the turkey a display of tail feathers, but to the man, we must get past this if we are to survive. (pardon my rant - just feeling like my beliefs are being squashed, and I'm being marginalized here in the land of excess..) Chuck, my friend: You ARE on the margins of our North American culture. As am I. Although it's not the most comfortable place in society, it is your place, by your choice. And I wouldn't have it any other way. We need and benefit from your voice. Take heart! Eveything's not lost! You have honesty, integrity, a superior intellect, insight and human compassion. Come back. We miss you.
June 7, 200917 yr Maybe, but how could we possibly have known that?? when i said that i was about to prepare lunch, i had chicken, so i said chicken, that's all. ;)

Come back. We miss you. for mr. kottke and ziggy: it's not only like that in northern america. it's like that EVERYWHERE. i spent half a year among tibetan refugees in northern india. one might think, as incredibly haunted as they are, that they would do the best they could to work together and make the best out of exile. they don't. corruption, old and obscure connections, one family against the other. an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. mistrust. clichées. prejudice. hatred. incedibly disillusionnary. but in the end just human. humans choose to be weak too easily. that is immensly saddening.
June 7, 200917 yr ^ Nice:P Not that I watch tennis that much :( please please please made pens win the series somehow
