November 16, 200520 yr Well, at least there's been some scalpers stopped so that's a good thing. This last check went to insurance and all the bills. I even had to do some partial payments for a couple. The next check is going towards my tickets, dammit. Who needs electricity...or water...or cable...or phone...or cell phone...I've got...er...nothing... Thank god I don't have a car payment or else I'd be in some deep shit. My in-laws bought and paid off my car. Thank goodness for them, I sure do love 'em...
November 16, 200520 yr Author in-laws? r u married? Yeah I know when there are tickets to buy who needs the necessities of life?? ahahaha
November 16, 200520 yr No, it's just that Jon and I were together for...er...over 4 yrs, his parents pretty much became mine. I just call them my in-laws instead of saying "my deceased boyfriend's parents". Much easier for everyone and it avoids people giving me that pitying "we're so sorry" look and awkward silences. And exactly! Although, I consider Coldplay the only necessity in my life. :smug:
November 16, 200520 yr Author I see, that is really cool of them and that you are close to his parents. Yes, sometimes I forget that I have other priorities besides Coldplay. ahaha
November 16, 200520 yr Yeah they're really good people who got a shitty lot in life. I'm trying to see if I can visit them as soon as I get my Coldplay things out of the way. Uh...I didn't realize there was anything else that could be considered a priority outside of CP...hmm...
November 16, 200520 yr Author well, that's true. I would probably go hungry, thirsty, without sleep just to see coldplay live. Is that so wrong?
November 16, 200520 yr Not wrong at all...hmmm...I'm so pumped up for this tour! I already asked for the 24th, 25th and the 26th off. I warned my manager that I might be taking off even more time if I go to other cities.
November 16, 200520 yr Author uh oh, lol Youre gonna get addicted to shows if your not careful. I know how that is and believe me, its AWSOME!!
November 16, 200520 yr I know, I'm sure I'll be spending a lot of my money on the shows. I just can't get out of my head how amazing they are to see live. There's just such a...connection when you see their show. I want more of that...although the show I went to didn't have as much energy as some of the show's I've listened to/seen. It'll just be so amazing to see them again!
November 16, 200520 yr Alright, I'm going to try to get some sleep now. Talk to you later, Mary! :snore:
November 16, 200520 yr Author I so agree. I have never been to a show like a CP show. They are just magical live. It's so bizarre to think that I will be seeing them in a stadium when I saw them in a place the size of a high school gym. I sometimes cant believe how fast their popularity has grown. Its amazing. I went from no one I knew knowing who Coldplay is to my daughter coming home saying her friends at school are singing speed of sound. CRAZINESS!!
November 16, 200520 yr Author ok, sorry lucinda it has taken me so long to respond. i hope i didnt bore you too much lol I will be back tomorrow, talk to you then  sleep well
November 16, 200520 yr afternoon everyone! (well, afternoon here at least). I've got the house to myself on a fresh snow day and no homework! Got the Coldplay blasting and a cuppa. How is everyone?
November 16, 200520 yr Oh, thescientist, that sounds like utter contentment in my opinion. *Sighs happily* I think I may just take after your example. :) And Mary, can I ask why you have 1 pound in your signature?
November 16, 200520 yr ahh, it is, and while I was at it, I learned the song "Gravity" on the keyboard just here! a well spent afternoon, I must say :P
November 16, 200520 yr yeah it sounds pretty good. But the chords I got are in a different key than that of the version I have on itunes. so, I might just have to pick it up by ear.
November 16, 200520 yr oh yay I can play it now with the actuall chords! yay for being blessed with good ears
November 17, 200520 yr Author Oh' date=' [b']thescientist[/b], that sounds like utter contentment in my opinion. *Sighs happily* I think I may just take after your example. :) And Mary, can I ask why you have 1 pound in your signature? haha I wondered if anyone would notice that. I put it in my sig because I dont have the pound sign on my keyboard so I figured if I ever needed it for anything I could just copy/paste it. ;) Sorry I know I am a bit strange. :wink3:
November 17, 200520 yr WOOT WOOT, GOT A PRE-SALE EMAIL! "dances around in pure joy* And I have until 5pm Friday night! YAY, I AM SO STINKING EXCITED! I get paid Friday morning and I'm going to fly home and go online so I can order my tickets. YAY YAY YAY!!!! 'Ello, Mary! No worries about yesterday, you didn't bore me. I was just getting tired so I decided to head off. But since I had coffee really late tonight, I'll be up for a while tonight. I'm so excited I'm still going to have a chance to get my tickets before everyone else!!! :D :stunned: :D
November 17, 200520 yr I know, I know! I feel lucky...wow...so excited! Although, because there aren't too many hardcore fans in the Seattle area, I didn't have to fight off too many people for pre-sale tickets but still...I'm very happy.
November 17, 200520 yr man i shoudlve opted to make a trip to Seattle instead of trying for NY tickets..
