It's an interesting stry actually.She was a little girl when the photographer that pic.But this pic had become very popular and so the same photographer had gone to Pakistan to find her.I watched it on TV on National Geographic Channel.After a long searc h' date='he could find her and now she is married with children and suffers of being poor. :cry: And now her eyes aren't that beautiful unfortunately.[/quote']

 

Yes, yes I saw it too!! they traveled to that area to find her, the found first a woman but she really wan't the one on the pic, her eyes were as black as oil. But later they found the real one, actually she's not that poor (comparating with the first woman) btw she expressed her dejection about her country situation, destroyed for the war.

 

What I don't really know is why her photo became that famous, is her beauty in her concerned face?

 

Actualmente es un símbolo Charles, nos muestra como aún en la guerra siempre queda algo de esperanza, esos ojos, simbolizan la esperanza de un pueblo. Es como el cuadro de E. Munch "El Grito" su importancia es el símbolo, el recuerdo de que una vez ocurrió algo que horrorizo al mundo entero porque fue una de las guerras más crueles.

Como ves otra imagen tuvo que recordarnoslo de nuevo, porque seguimos sin aprender la lección de saber convivir en paz unos con otros. :/
