Which Coldplay song do you think is/was overplayed way too much? I think Clocks is a definate.

I would have to say that Clocks is the most overplayed right now. The most underplayed is definitely by far God Put A Smile Upon Your Face. All of the other three singles from A Rush Of Blood To The Head smashed the charts, and were very popular, while this song was just right for Coldplay before they took their break to start recording the new album.

Clocks, but i still never get bored

Clocks and yellow but they are both great tracks so I dont get bored when I hear them. In my place was played a lot as well, but that is and always will be my birthday song so I'll never get bored of it. Trouble should be played more, and god put a smile on your face as thats an amazing song

it has to be clocks! also...God Put A Smile Upon Your Face wasn't a single in the UK, you could only get it on import, which is maybe why it wasn't played as much :)

there are only four coldplay songs that were popular enough to be overplayed: clocks, trouble, don't panic, and yellow...

 

clocks is probably the coldplay song i heard the most often on the radio. it kind of killed the magic of that song.

Clocks, definitely.

 

I heard it so often that it made me hate it...with a passion.

There's so many shitty remixes of Clocks also. I'd say the only really good one is the Royksopp Tremblin' Heart and the Psyclone isn't too bad. I'm working on a remix of it, everything done from scratch...well....most of it :P
