The artwork has changed!

Now on the official site there is no grid, and the red dotted line bit has dissapeared, now it is just blocks!

Aaah, I see.. maybe it's just for the site? They wouldn't change the artwork, would they? It seems odd to me, changing it one day after publishing it..

You're right!!!

I just noticed that...

Why would they change it the day after publishing it???

It's odd

Or they're going to reveal the code :wink3:

maybe the grid was just an outline for the blocks i dont know, or just a clue to us hardcore fans as to what the hidden pattern is.........now when a regular joe looks at the thing without the grid and dotted line, they will see blocks and no pattern.........

I like it more without the grid, the grid was kinda....annoying, in the way of the colors! :) I love colors, colors happy :D

anyway its all very exciting......

ya perhaps they will slowly take peices away until we see the code....hmm also the name of the album down the spine isnt there, so now this seems more artwork than the actual cover...

It is strange, though :/

when you right click to save the file it is called "squares" are they sure the album is not called Square One?

Nooo, Ireentje, it's not good that it's changed! They're changing everything! First, the release date. Luckily that didn't change anymore after the official announcement.. but the artwork is also already officially published, so what if they've changed it now, after that? That would mean that they can just still can change everything..

Aaah

*gets confused by her own stupid reasoning*

when you right click to save the file it is called "squares" are they sure the album is not called Square One?

What was the previous artwork called then?

Aw. Just when I had gotten used to it! I liked the grids...more mathematical and therefore made more sense. Now it's really just squares... :embarrased:

they have subtly inserted the green make trade fair symbol as part of the design....hmm i wonder if the other colours mean anything together like the two green bits do?

:(

Well, there must be some reason why they changed it...

  • Author

ok so the make trade fair thing was asked in the q&a and debs said "oh i never noticed that,..........but all will be revealed soon"

:o That's interesting...

I can't wait :)

  • Author

i want to figure it all out.......ok so the grid is gone, and the dotted line......and the album title

Even the album title, isn't that a bit weird :/

This is scary..

Like I said, they're changing everything! (Ooooh if they DARE to change everything..)

Well, maybe they've a good reason for it.. hopefully we'll hear soon :)

i think the pattern must have something to do with the way the colours relate to each other.......like the two green parts make up the make trade fair part....what do the rest relate?

  • Author

i think we really need the lyrics to the song X&Y to crack this one......perhaps the colours represent different countries and the whole pattern is was as that is the rumour as to what the song is about.....

The rainbow?

or optimism and pessimism like chris was saying..........the one side of where that dotted line was was all dark and greyscaled squares (pessimism) while the other side had the mtf sign and was showing optimism.....with all the bright colours...
