timeo Posted May 10, 2005 Author Share Posted May 10, 2005 Umm, about a week ago, the Mix website put up this page where basically you could call into the radio station and leave a question for Coldplay. If they chose your question, you'd win tickets to the Kool Haus show tomorrow. I thought for a while what my question would be (aside from, "Guy why did you HAVE to get married!?" heh) and then eventually settled on this really long rambly question which basically involved asking them, "Hey, you guys switched producers during the making of X&Y. Why? And what do you think has resulted in the change aurally?"). I didn't expect to hear my question really at all because I had kind of forgot that I had asked the question in the first place, but then they were like "and this is a question from Tim..." and my voice goes on the radio, and I'm totally stunned and surprised. Afterwards, the DJ's like "Wow, talk about a Coldplay nerd!" and I was just giggling like a little schoolchild and smiling like mad here at work. I'm too excited to hear the rest of the answer, so that's why I'm hoping somebody recorded it. :) Hopefully I'll get a pair of tickets!
