I sold my tickets on eBay. I had mediocre seats, nothing great.... and I couldn't picture myself driving up 5 hours and coming back! Besides, I've seen them twice this year, and I was front row at Coachella, so I figured I couldn't really top that :(

Hasn't anyone noticed that X&Y is all about this fictional "you" person. Square One - "You're in control, is there anywhere you wanna go" What If? - "What if you should decide..." White Shadows - "Maybe you get what you wanted, Maybe you stumbled upon it, Everything you ever wanted" Fix You - haha...man, so many YOU references here... anyways, you guys get the point. In Parachutes and AROBTTH, Chris constantly sings about him and not this fictional 'you' person. This is why I don't like why X&Y that much, it feels like lyrics are fake and lack soul. Chris doesn't have any love problems anymore, he's got Gwen and a baby and doing very well. No wonder he had such a hard time writing this album. Don't get me wrong, I love Coldplay, I've seen em twice this year already and I have tickets to the San Fran show (which I plan on re-selling) but this really bugs the hell out of me. Anyways, that's my input on this topic.

The ending is pretty cool, but it felt like the begining was kind of meaningless and repetitive. :(

I picked Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Radiohead, and Incubus. :)

At the KCRW gig I attended in March, they only played 12 songs for a whopping 65 minutes. Also, at Coachella was around 76 minutes spanning over 14 tracks (i don't count the intro as playing time). Awesome concert live though! I guess this is the new trend.

WinRAR is the best compression utility out there that handles numerous types of files (ZIP, RAR, TAR, FAR, etc). Get this, it's your new best friend. :)

Just FYI.... It will be a hidden track on the X&Y release so no need to worry... You won't hear "How You See The World" which is a bonus track only exclusive to Japan.
