How does this work exactly? We just enter in what dates we want and how many, and then wait... it says it starts today.

We will be offering a ‘presale lottery’ for all the new 'TWISTED LOGIC' US tour dates to members of Coldplay.com.

 

As with our UK & European presales this lottery will make sure as many real fans (not scalpers) get tickets as easily as possible.

 

OUR NEW PRESALE METHOD EXPLAINED:

 

The presale lottery will open today (Tuesday May 17th) and close on Thursday May 19th at 1pm (GMT)

We need you to tell us:

- which shows you want to buy tickets for (a maximum of 3 shows)

- how many tickets you want for that show (the maximum is 4)

 

Tickets will then be allocated to as many members as the presale allows. Members will then be notified by e-mail detailing how they can then purchase tickets for their requested show.

 

Notification emails will be sent from Friday (May 20th) and the actual presale page will open for all members who get tickets from Tuesday (May 24th)

So I'm guessing if you win the lottery, you get first dibs to buying them online. You probably get some special password or link to do so.

Yah, I am just not sure how you actually enter the lottery. Did you enter on the page yet?

Yup I put in my Coldplay.com email address

 

and the # of tix and venue I wanted.

 

I did that and there was a confirmation msg.

 

So that's it, I believe.

I just got the email telling me about the lottery, ok.

Does it let you enter your email address? Or do you not have to put anything in there?

Oh n/m I see it now..it goes underneath in the blue field...opps. When I entered last time I didnt put anything there, and I didnt check off that I accept the terms and conditions.

One more question, how do you request more than one show? Do you fill in the form twice?

pollstar says that "Registered users of coldplay.com can participate in a first come, first served ticket pre-sale starting May 24th."

 

I think this means that that's when we find out if we have been chosen for the presale tickets and when we can start buying them.

The lottery ended today. Did everyone get to order their tickets?

 

Confirmation emails will be sent out May 20th to as many people as the presale allows. The presale page will then open on May 24th allowing you to purchase your tickets.

 

If you have not been successful in the lottery you will still get the chance to purchase tickets for all shows through the general sale.

It's almost 2pm here in Michigan. Did not recieve the presale email yet to allow the purchasing of tickets. I'm not too worried but I do hope I got at least one of my 3 choices! :keeps fingers crossed: :worried2:

well friday is over no email notification of tickets. I think it is a scam. I can't find anyone who got in the "lottery"
