After seeing Coldplay on the 4th July in Bolton I was wondering whether they were planning to release a new DVD, and if so which gig/date will it be?

Im sorry I cant help u with a date, but after seeing them on 28th june at Crystal Palace Im desparate for live dvd too, the first one was awesome!! :D

Ditto on the live DVD, especially after seeing them last night for the first time.

Live DVD filmed

 

There was actually a sign at the mixing desk on Monday's Bolton gig which stated that the gig was being filmed for a possible DVD release. Having been at recorded gig's before you quite often find that bands cut out the swearing and go for a very professinal approach if a gig is being filmed to be released in its entirity. As Chris was swearing quite a bit and the band were messing around a lot I doubt you will see a 'Coldplay live in Bolton' DVD. I do expect they will probably be filming bits from various shows for a compilation DVD which would feature bits from various parts of the tour.

 

Having said that Bolton would make sense if they were going to release a UK gig as Northern crowds tend to be more receptive than Southern crowds but not as nasty as the really crazy Glasgow crowds!

he swore a lot less on tues than he did on Mon. don't remember hearing him swear on tues at all

I heard the video for Fix You was being recorded that night...... :wink3:

both nights!! I wanna be on it!! but don;t think the cameras l;ooked up at the upper tiers, plus they moved the camera!! it was on our side on Mon night, we sat on the opposite side on tues and it was on our side again :angry: :lol:

It says that at most of the gigs.

 

I doubt there will be a Crystal Palace 28th June DVD as during Everything's Not Lost he changed the lyrics to say "And if you say fuck at a concert, I know that everything's not lost"... :/ :( :cry:

Well in that case there won't be a DVD of the Bolton gig on 4th July cos he forgot the lyrics of Til Kingdom Come, and then swore...:lol:
