I finish college at the end of the week, and because I'm not connected at home I won't be able to come on here... I'm going to miss you guys, even if it is only for 7 weeks :(

I understand the frustration of that. My parents still don't have internet or even a computer, so when I go home I have to go "cold turkey"!! :)

I'm sure you'll find loads of other things to do, though - it is summer, after all!

The sun is out (for now) and sometimes it's good to get out a bit and not spend every last second of the day on here as some do.

Maybe you could get a summer job too :idea2:

Have fun and we look forward to your return :)

I have a summer job at Sainsbury's. I will be working 25 hours a week and I'll be bored. I'm also going to stay with my brother for a week, in Birmingham. And I'm going up to Scotland the week after that, so I guess I will be busy :)

That's good then, least you'll be bored with money :idea2:

Reckon you won't miss the board at all, then! :)

Well it's not a summer job really. I mean I've been working there for a year and have so far spent £800 and saved up £2,500!!!

Anyway - it's not possible to get into the uni during the summer?

I used to visit a uni here in order to use the internet (before I got it myself) and the computer room was always open during the day.

Or is it because you're leaving Portsmouth altogether??

Wow go you, what you saving for?

A laptop, so you need never go "offline" ever again?? :)

Haha, ever again?

Sounds fun :stunned:

Camille was saying she couldn't bear to be parted from her laptop!! :)

I'm sure she can't, I have a laptop and take it everywhere with me, however there are certain times of the day when I switch it off and spend some time with some 'real' people. As nice as you lot are :P

I'm glad to hear it. I prefer "real" contact too, it's the only way you can REALLY get to know someone.

But this is a good place to come when there isn't much going on...................
