Does anybody know the name of the effect used on 'trouble'? I think snow patrol use it on 'how to be dead' aswell..

I dunno which part you mean exactly but for parts of trouble...

Jonny uses reverb with a long reverb time and delay. He uses a slide on the part before ''they spun a web for me, the spun a WEB for me'' and the outro.

I reckon there's a really gentle phaser on the lead guitar bit at 0:15 in Trouble. There's a tremolo on the guitar part that kicks in at 2:20 in How To Be Dead. There's also a tremolo on live versions of Trouble (it's very obvious the first time he plays that riff on the Norweigen Live EP at 0:18), but I'm not sure if that's on the studio version.

theres no tremolo or phaser used in Trouble. In the norwegian EP, he left it on by mistake. he just uses reverb and delay and the sound of the tele
