haha, It's a comidian who's doing it, But he is being very serious

But it is all possible, Out in the north sea lies 'Sealand' on a WW2 sea fort

It;s someones own country with all legal documents

And area's of Antartica have become people's own countrys

It's not quite the same thing.

 

It's an "experiment" if you like by this comedian who wants to find out what he needs to do to start his own country. It's actually really funny - he first tried to buy a castle, then he invaded an island on the River Thames, then he tried to ally with the British Army and suggested that they take France.

 

Now he's set up his country in his flat in London, held a press conference about it, and sent his Declaration of Independence to Tony Blair. He even got an Ordnance Survey map done of his flat.

 

All done quite tongue-in-cheek. Very funny stuff.
