Hi, I'm a new member here but quite a big Coldplay fan, and I'm a singer/songwriter/musician from England, and I just wanted to post this here and hopefully get some opinions on my EP that I've put up for sale at:

I'm not on here just asking people to buy the EP, but on my page at CDBaby you can listen to samples of all 5 tracks on the EP, so I was just hoping some of you could listen to the samples and post feedback in this thread.

 

My biggest influences are artists like Coldplay, Oasis, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Stone Roses, Embrace etc. So hopefully at least some of you might find something you like on the EP! Anyway, thanks in advance to anyone who goes and listens to the tracks. Again the address is:

Hey. Your songs aint working. Somthing wrong with the software?

They should be working. Try listening to them again, I recommend using the high quality option by the way, as they don't sound too good on the low quality version.

i just listened to track one, two, and three and am listening to track 4 at the moment - i like the general feel of your music, it's easy to listen to, the music is fab, and i really like the melody lines, especially in track 2 and 3. i can def see your cp, oasis and beatles influences coming through, and your voice is also very soothing. nice work. :)

Lol, thanks for the feedback - if you like the CD that much then why not buy it? And tell all your friends how great it is! Lol. You might want to look around the rest of the CDBaby site as well as there are loads of good unsigned artists on there that need the support!

they are all very good i think congrats. but i like its only everything most :) and i think it will be very nice to hear it in a film :cool: (i dont know but while i was listening i remembered the song at the end of the butterfly effect)

Thanks again for all the feedback. I think "Its Only Everything" is better if you hear the whole song too. On the last two choruses (which you don't hear in the clip on CDBaby) there's an added piano/keyboard track and a clean vibrato'd guitar track. I definitely think the last chorus not heard in the CDBaby clip is the best part of it.
