Tips for voice box?

Featured Replies

Yeah, I was playing and singing Coldplay for almost an hour on the piano just now, and I can't really seem to sing anymore...

Is there something I can do to get my voice better?

maybe you should try some vocal excersises.

Practice. I had/have the same problem. You can't go from never singing to doing a full 2 hour concert of belting out lyrics without seriously damaging your voice (or at least losing it for a few days). You've got to build up, and that takes time.

Also, make sure you do a proper warm-up. Coldplay isn't necesarily the best thing to jump right in on, as Chris goes for some pretty high notes. Try a song that's lower, and build your way up.

Vocal exercises probably wouldn't be a bad idea (like stevemah said)...

thats a good idea...now does anyone know any excercises you can do that can make you go from a crap singer to a great one?? lol im so bad at singing
