NHL Hockey is back
I don't know if you remember Sundin getting suspended a few years ago when he chucked his stick into the crowd when it broke... Like a week later, with the Sens in the process of routing the Leafs (I think the final was like 7-2), Alfie broke his stick, and faked throwing it into the crowd before dropping it to the ice... I remember being pissed off initially, and then thinking it was funny... But that's the main reason... That and the hit from behind on Tucker followed by the game winning goal in the playoffs... Those are the two big ones... Of course, he also plays for Ottawa, and has been clutch against the Leafs... That probably has something to do with it too ;)

Anyone wanna do some covers? :P
So I DID record the Scientist... And I WILL post it. However, I haven't quite got the vocals as good as I want them, so give me time :) In the meantime, here's a 50 second clip of what I have... http://s65.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=217GQJG31ESM41DYO43P6KV0NJ It's all acoustic guitar and vocals (considering I neither play, nor own a piano). I recorded on GarageBand, through the microphone that's built-in to my iBook, so obviously it's not the best possible recording conditions (not to mention that I recorded it in my bedroom, which is not the most sonically friendly place to record...). It's not on rapidshare, because we don't get along ;)

NHL Hockey is back
But, but, but... We've got Lindros and Allison this year! Oh wait, they're gonna be watching from the press box more than the bench. It'll be on Wellwood, Steen and Brad Leeb then. Of course, if Kaberle keeps up his shooting at teammates string, the Marlies will be more common in Toronto this year... I still say boo-urns to the Sens. ;)

Tips for voice box?
Practice. I had/have the same problem. You can't go from never singing to doing a full 2 hour concert of belting out lyrics without seriously damaging your voice (or at least losing it for a few days). You've got to build up, and that takes time. Also, make sure you do a proper warm-up. Coldplay isn't necesarily the best thing to jump right in on, as Chris goes for some pretty high notes. Try a song that's lower, and build your way up. Vocal exercises probably wouldn't be a bad idea (like stevemah said)...

¡Gracias para el elogio! Creo que si te guste una banda inglés, es muy fácil a encontrar un foro que es en inglés. ;)

- List the MAJOR sporting events you have attended.
1993 - Game 2 of the World Series (Blue Jays/Phillies) - game won by the Phillies (the only friggin home game the Jays lost in that one...) 2002 - Canada/Sweden Olympic Hockey Round Robin play - Game won by Sweden 5-2 2002 - Olympic Women's Super-Giant Slalom ski race And a boat-load of Leafs playoff games, none of which have been in the Stanley Cup Finals... Yet... I'm also hoping to make it to Turin, Italy this year for *something*. We'll see how that goes...- NHL Hockey is back
Sooooo close... I'm extremely excited... Too bad I won't be able to watch any games... Maybe when I'm home at Christmas... Hopefully... But... I figure since the Red Sox won the World Series last year, it's right on time for the Leafs to bust it out this year... So... You heard it here first. Come May/June, the Leafs will be cup champs once again :D And egghead - I'd like to complete the phrase in your sig by saying "...for the travelling man" ;)- Zona hispana
Quiero ir al concierto Madrid, pero no pude encontrar entradas :( Ya vendieron todos... PERO, pude comprar algunos para el de Oasis, y para mi, es tan bueno... :)- Hi to all!
It's been great to me so far :) And thanks to everyone for the warm welcome!- Anyone wanna do some covers? :P
I might try to record The Scientist tomorrow... We'll see how I feel :) I sorta learned it, you know, today, so I haven't quite got it down, but I'm close...- Hi to all!
As everyone here is, I'm new to the board. I was directed here for the Oasis live4ever.us site. I figure I might as well introduce myself. My name is Rob, and I'm a slightly displaced Canadian, currently living in Granada, Spain, but just for the year. I definately joined this place *mainly* because I collect bootlegs of live shows, and this seems to be as good a place as any for Coldplay stuff. Thanks for existing, because I've been having trouble finding Coldplay gigs! - List the MAJOR sporting events you have attended.
