so do you consider that expensive? or am i really a spoiled brat

any shoe over $60 dollars is expensive for me...

even though I don't pay for it, I don't like making my parents spend money on my stupid shoes...

yeah it's expensive

i know i spend too much money on some things... but i save in a lot of other ways. in my house renovating, i have saved a fortune doing so much of it myself, that i don't feel too bad spending a bit on me once in a while.

you own you're own house?

renovating as in... tearing down stuff with sledge hammers?

well yes i do. it is about 100 years old, victorian in style, and on a nice piece of land with a cute barn for my horse and my son's pony. it is really turning out wonderful. it is my dream home. just wish my husband was here to share it with me. but i wanted to keep it and fix it like we planned... and raise my son here.

oh were getting sad again

yeah i leaned back too far... oh well. beats hiring someone to restore it and paying them a fortune for something that i probably wouldn't approve of anyway. i am kinda picky about these things.

yea just be careful and don't hurt yourself!!!

i will try - all the hard stuff is done - just some more painting. i already have almost all the furniture in now. sort of did it a room at a time so it wasn't complete chaos.

man... I can barely get up and take the time to clean my room... haha.

it will be different when it is your own. i was a mess when i lived with my parents. mom always said i would starve to death and be naked because i couldn't cook and didn't know how to use a washing machine

haha

hopefully it'll be different for me also... :P

I'm an automotive technician.

i asked first!! j/k i have a bach. deg in nursing and a bach in psych. then a masters in psych - which led to me working as a consultant for a drug company doing clinical trials for new psychiatric medications. i do all the patient evaluations to see who is eligible, then i translate the data the nurses who care for the patients into terms the drug company docs can work with... sounds like a blast, huh? nah it's a great job, i make my own hours, work a lot from home, etc... i can't complain. i worked in the emergency room for a couple years and it was hell!!
