I think that they cut the songs cause usually them go on for 4-5 minutes (Coldplay) and it is too many long comparing with another bands.

If Coldplay edits their own songs, then they suck at it. I can't stand any of the radio edits... (Clocks, Speed of Sound, Fix You!)

 

I would have thought someone else would have, since it's just the instrumental parts that get cut out. (including the BEST part of Fix You)

Of course they don't edir their songs. Maybe their producer, or who knows.
