I also saw on TV that George Best died. :( It's very sad. R.I.P

So, the winter came last night and the first game (Duisburg-Cologne) since 3 years was canceled in the first Bundesliga, because of this bad weather. Unfortunately Bremen lost 1:2 in Gelsenkirchen at Schalke. :(

Some scandolous football games this weekend in the German Bundesliga.

At the game Hamburger SV - 1. FC Cologne a player who scored a goal was hit by a beatstick. Luckely they caught the man who threw it. In the same game the Turkish player Alpay made an ellbow check against Guy Demel and got the red card. It's the same player who hit Swiss players 3 weeks ago in Turkey or had trouble with David Beckham when England played in Istanbul years ago.

At the game Borussia Mönchengladbach - 1. FC Nuremberg the player Stefan Kießling lost his consciousness because of an elbow check by Jeff Strasser. After that the "fans" of Mönchengladbach threw lighters and other things to Kießling.

The match between Kaiserslautern and Eintracht Frankfurt was canceled when the roof of the stadium got tears. By the way it's a World Cup stadium. ;)

Luckely Werder Bremen won 2:0 against MSV Duisburg and Bayern Munich only played 0:0 in Stuttgart. :D

Yeah Werder Bremen won 4:1 in Cologne, after 0:1. :D Klose with his 15th and 16th goals. He's so great! Unfortunately Bayern Munich also won (2:1) against Kaiserslautern today.

Next weekend there will be the last games before DFB-Pokal and winter break. On Sunday Bremen will play against Hamburg. :)

Bundesliga TV-coverage next season

What a day for football fans in Germany. Pay-TV channel "Premiere" surprisely lost the Bundesliga TV-broadcast for the next season, because they only wanted to pay more money if the first pictures of the Bundesliga on Free-TV (in this case ARD) will be able to see at 10 pm. like in England. But ARD got the rights with their "Sportschau" to show all 6 matches on Saturday at 6.30 pm., similar to this year. The German Football League (DFL) was afraid that the fans don't want to see Bundesliga at 10 pm. on Free-TV (like 3 years ago), so they didn't give "Premiere" the TV-rights. A new Pay-TV channel called "Arena" got the rights to show all Bundesliga games live. What a surprise!

By the way, there will be Friday night games again. A lot of supporters liked Friday games so the DFL made this wonderful decision. :)

Friday: 1 game (8.30 pm.) "Arena" -> Free-TV Saturday 6.30 pm. "ARD"

Saturday: 6 games (3.30 pm.) "Arena" -> Free-TV Saturday 6.30 pm. "ARD"

Sunday: 2 games (5 pm.) "Arena" -> Free-TV Sunday 10 pm. "DSF"
