LiquidSky, the movie takes place during the civil rights movement in Northern Ireland, and it focuses on this one day where a civil rights march is being held. Basically what happens is, British soldiers open fire on the group of unarmed marchers, killing 14. The movie just kinda takes you through the whole day. It's really powerful.

yep, it's got james nesbitt. he does a very good job in it, i think. it is very controverisial...i liked watching everything unfold from both sides.

oh yay because im really irish im obsessed with anything irish so i will most defiantly get this....ive seen michael collins alot!! at least 5x he is pure genius to me...so yes i will watch this mug :-D

i've seen michael collins a bunch too! good movie. i love bloody sunday, i recommend it to who ever i talk to. ( of course no one has ever heard of the actual event, let alone the movie! :roll: ) but go watch it! it's fantastic! it'll open your eyes.
