Coldplay Hint At 'Electronic' Fourth Album

Featured Replies

Take those words with a grain of salt people. We've heard country album, hip-hop album and now electronic.

This time next month it could be hard-core. Who knows?

But an electronic album could be interesting. We all know how amazing Chris' voice sounds over electronic intruments from the Faultline songs. :)

But I do agree that the fourth album needs to knock everyone sideways in terms of new sound and lyrics.

And just new everything.

One thing that HAS stayed the same over the months though is the trilogy statement. Perhaps with the end of the trilogy they end the love songs.

I'm up for anything. Really. I just want a grounshaking change in the band, and I think that's exactly what they're gearing up for.

^ true.. however its Guy who said this.. and not Chris.. lol Chris can be sarcastic.. and all tounge and cheek... but Guy I think was being truthful.

another band that is supposedly changing their sound is Keane, so maybe that will hold us over until Coldplay gets back to the studio. Travis is also coming out with some new stuff in March, and I cannot wait.
