My other favourite artist other than Coldplay is Alexi Murdoch.

Don't know if anybody has heard of him. He's currently an independant artist at the moment (British currently living in LA). He's such an amazing song writer. I can connect to every one of his songs :) and such a beautiful voice.

I have heard Orange Sky quite a lot, and I really like that song. I am not familiar with his other songs, but I will probably check him out. :)

 

i felt the urge to retriev this thread, because it is pretty old, and no one really said anything about this artist. he deserves much more attention. he's amazingy talanted songwriter.imgo he's very much influenced by Nick Drake. i have "time without consequence", and it's a very good release. songs like breath, song for you, and wait deserve a listen.

if anybody wants to hear this album, let me know, so i'll go ahead and upload it.

the Four Songs EP (2002) and Time Without Consequence (2006) are his only two releases. The Four Songs EP is almost completley sold out so if you're interested in a cheap, but AMAZING cd i'd recommend you get it here...

THANK GOD FINALLY I FOUND THIS THREAD

 

I'm currently addicted to his songs. I've been listening to Blue Mind and Breathe most days. His album on Time Without Consequence is awesome! Had a first thought he was American, but apparently he's a Londoner! How English singers do sound like American most of the time...or is it just my ear?
