No,I dont have a car now.I am saving money to buy a car

I think is just matter of time to buy a new car

Do you have any particular car in mind?

carros carros! Oh man...in mexico...the only two cars I saw, were VZ bugs and volvos....!

see, in Mexico...there are really only a few means of transportation...One of the afore mentioned cars...or a bus/taxi oorr your feet . It is really more convenient there without a car. MOst of the time...the distances from one place to the other in the city...(like where Alfredo lives) are small...and walkable.

Or you take a taxi...and BLAM you're there. (one, because you are not far from the places you have to be...and two, because Taxi drivers in Mexico are fast as hell!)

*seriously,there,are,some,crazy,drivers,there* :o

I  Mexico!

Totally agree!!!!

Here in Mexico people drive like insane!!

I know it! :freak:

you can make U-turns whenever you want! and no one pays attention to the right-of-way that united states people cherish so much.

If you can handle the driving in Mexico...maybe then, you can get through life!!!!

Sounds like most of the cars there are bombs that should be in the wreckers!

There are a lot of cars here, that is the main problem

  • Author

Well true, what is the cheapest car that you could buy?

the bug probably... a volkswagon bug...

But I do not live there, it's pretty common there so I suppose it might just be the cheapest...and best to get. NOt a gas guzzler, small (good for tight parking). Cute..to pick up the girlies :P

Well, that is true a VW is a good option!

I like the Jetta or Nissan

  • Author

 Pick up girlies in a VW Bug?? LMFAO....The only thing you could pick up with one of those is a parking ticket!!

Well you have to manage the best you could,if you have a VW bug.

Nothing like a truck or a 4 doors car

  • Author

That is true, but I would rather not have a car at all, than have a VW Bug...

hey rick!!

talking about cars....interesting..i'm the best in cars...

I've got an opel astra '94.very good car comfortable, powerful...5 doors

ask me if you want to have an opinion about one...

Mmmm....

Well every person is a world.

VW bug is a legend here in Mexico.

There is no longer available, but here in Mexicoi,we fabricate the last one

  • Author

Oh I know cars too,I work part-time as a mechanic.

everywhere it's a legend...

yeah you're right, no longer available...you look for it in used cars maybe?

otherwise do you hav an other choice?

You can buy one,but of course it would be used.

Is one of the few 2 doors cars I like

  • Author

Well will you buy a bug then alfredo?

Maybe,I am not sure yet!

I think I will wait to save more money and then I will make my choice.

otherwise which cars do u like?

japanese cars are the best: no mechanical problems! on these cars just have to change tyres when they're out, but not tooo early.

Maybe spare parts are quite expensive but you're not always in the garage

  • Author

Well Japanese cars are very reliable, but saying that they have NO mechanical problems is not true, have plenty of em coming in with mainly gearbox problems, esp on Mitsubishi..

yep right!now it's not as well as in the past!too much electronic....and cost killers!but an old one (+/- 10 years) is a good choice!

  • Author

That is true!

Go for a Toyota, about early 90's is good!!
