Yes, I definitely have no problem with other beliefs or ways of thought...

Unfortunately it can get very, very annoying when that kind of people judge you or can't respect how you think (like my parents, which actually don't know I don't believe in God anymore), like everyone who thinks different or do not agre with has a place in hell waiting for them... I'm so annoyed now!

If so, must be a very selfish father who abandoned his sons and daughters on earth by their luck.

it's kinda a myth for me to believe in something that is just not there!! I'm still very amazed people can believe in that. God was invented to explain things, to give universe a sense, now we're more intelligent, we have science, why do we still need God?

Sorry if I ofend any realigious here, is just what I think...

I think life is about more than science...I'm intelligent enough to know that the world was not created by god.........but I think religion is a good thing for you if you are sad or alone or whatever...........some people are fulfilled by religion and believe.........you can talk to somebody........

Yes obviosly religion and having the hope that there's something more behind this cold world, someone great who really understand us is a very big support to life, fortunately there's some people strong enough who can take the weel of their lives and destiny believing in them, not in something/someone that you cannot say is actually really there.

I believe in myself, in life, in the mankind (or at least I try), do you?

Same here. I think a lot of people get comfort from religion when they think about death, as they believe there is something after their life eg.heaven. I sometimes wish i thought that way, as sometimes the idea of there being nothing when i die is kinda scary :stunned: , but i just dont think there is.

Interesting thread, what about jewish? .

Anyway, I'm muslim. What I like most about it is that, believe it or not, everyone is equal infront of God. No hypocrytical church etc...

I am not Muslim...but in the Islamic religion, I have observed that everyone is considered equal in the church. Like when people take a pilgrimage to Mecca and see the Kaaba, for example...no one knows your past unless you tell them and the richest people to the poorest people all pray to their god Allah...they do it in the same way, same place. And you can't tell one class from the other like you do in other religions.

I just thought I would put my two cents in. ;)

If I had to pick a religion, and I don't...I would probably practice the Islamic faith ..even though extremist wouldn not like me so well. But they don't count (extremeists), because they have twisted around the Koran to make it supress others

Glad to see someone knows, there is nobody higher in the mosque either. Religious folk aren't considered better than normal people. Anyone can call prayer too..
