Has anyone else that has the piano books notice that there are errors in the chord boxes on certain songs. For example, in Fix You the Cm7 is on the sixth fret and it dosent sound right at all. Also in in my place they have i believe an em and they have it three frets away from the capo when it should be two. Just wondering

the books always give sh**ty ear transcriptions, lol

LOL  :P

oh really i didnt know they were ear transcriptions... i thought the band would like hand the sheet music over.... but they are pretty big errors... and do you know the correction to fix you then

I think the band isn't writing down real sheet music as they probably just write chords down and then make up their melodies and the accompanist

Yeah. Sometimes they have to call the bands and ask for guitar tunings and then even sometimes meet with the bands to be shown how to play certain songs. I know this from hearing Matt from Muse talking about it on some radio interview. But he did say that after telling and showing them the correct way to play the songs they just wrote something else anyway

and do you know the correction to fix you then

yeah, it should be Cm7 on the 4th fret (remember it's tuned down a semitone)
