Are DVDs compatible with m2v videos?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I need your help here. I just downloaded a m2v format video, and now i'm curious: Can a dvd player read this kind of files? I mean, my dvd can read vcds, but i'm not sure if m2v videos work. You guys know if i need to change the file extension or something like that to make a m2v video work on my dvd?

Most dvd players will only play either svcd - vcd - cdrw and mp3 formats only but if you mean a dvd rom ( pc ) then yes , it also depends on what video software you use - try using Tmpeg that will play and convert most video file formats . you can also use Nero Burning Rom to turn your video file into a dvd , svcd or vcd . highly recomended !

hope this helped you out
