Tell me about your stereotypes/prejudices or klischees......do you have some against other cultures?

it's still one of the biggest prob worldwide in my opinion. :/ example: i lived in Hungary for a long time and a lot of people hate gipsys,only because they're just gipsys,for nothing else.

 

i also sad : "stupid x or y" but after i realized how stupid was i :confused: i cannot associate every gipsy with another,i had to apologize in some cases

You are right Nik.......I mean there are so many prejudices which aren't true......you also can seperate them in two groups:

 

1.)More stereotypes like:all german wear Lederhosen,french people always have a baguette in their hands,americans have a burger in one hand and are fat........

 

2.)More prejudices (because of historical facts for example.....):All germans are Nazis,americans are stupid because of voting Bush (ok this is a weak argument somehow...)......

stereotypes:

 

every russian has "ushankas" (i never had,i'm not russian then :uhoh2: ) :dozey: hungarians always eat gulyas :dozey: (once a month maybe :smug2: )

i used to be prejudice against boys who drove jeeps and wore hats because they're everywhere. i'm still prejudice against people that buy huge trucks and cars that make too much noise and burn too much gas (and wear hats... really, they always wear hats and have bad accents). and i stereotype a lot of people

Woah its so weird your talkin bout this subject...we were talkin bout it in my english class the other day. All of the kids told the teacher that there weren't many stereotypes at our school. That is absolute bullshit.

I didn't really dream about anything but I can tell you what I usually dream about...The weird thing is that for the past few night I been seeing Harry potter in my dreams ...weird eh?
