X&Y Single Theory

Featured Replies

Alrighty, so I thought about how they did the Rush of Blood singles with each band member on the cover and I thought, hmm maybe this applies to the X&Y singles too.

So, I thought about the singles and I came up with this: each of the singles features one of the band members more prominently than the others in a way. For example:

Speed of Sound - Will's drum riff catches my ear and stands out

Fix You - the first half is Chris on solo

Talk - Johnny and his solos, plus the song is based on the riff he plays

4th? White Shadows and Low both feature Guy upfront on bass... :D

Does this seem like it could be true/make sense?

it makes sense, but isn't hardest part going to be there next single, and thats mainly Chris singing and his piano, would be nice if it was square one, thats got awesome bass

It's still a rumor, and there is the White Shadows rumor too, so we don't really know yet.

This kinda supports White Shadows.

Possibly.... probably, but things like this are always fun to do. ^_^

IT'S ALL A CONSPIRACY!

haha, Just kidding. But I'm thinking White Shadows will be their next single, though I'm really pushing for Swallowed in the Sea.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention the fact that I've heard White Shadows on the radio twice and three times in three different restaraunts.
