Just seen the snow in New York on the news :o Woah!

It looks sooooooo pretty! And lotsa fun!!!

 

But i guess for some people its not so great, which travel being pretty much impossible etc. :/

 

Any New Yorkers around? I'd love to hear how it is from your point of view! :)

yea, I was pretty much stuck in the house Saturday night and all Sunday. Pretty cool to watch though.... Getting to work this morning was a hassle.. I had to dig my car out of the mountain of snow left by the plow.. lol

Here in Rhode Island we got over a foot... Well, at least where I live, which is one of the highest points in the state. Pretty crazy all of yesterday, my mom almost got killed coming home when she got stuck in a white out on the highway (which they later closed).

ugh! That sucks!!

 

I soooo wanted to stay home today.. but I did the responsible thing and got my ass to work.

man, remember when we were kids and we'd pray for snow days...yeah, that totally doesn't apply to the working people. it's a shame. it can be hella dangerous.

 

here in montreal, we had a day when it was freezing rain the night before, which resulted in the streets literally being covered with a thick sheet of ice..and then the next morning it rained making it that much harder to get around. people were falling all over the place. weather is insane.
