Different sense of humour?

Featured Replies

can you give us an example of the egyptian humour? :P

Well... personally I like the british sense of humor, it's way better than the most usually dull german comedies.

Monthy Python and especially John Cleese for ever! :wideeyed:

ditto that :D

No, I can't really. Most of the jokes tend to be quite untranslatable.

I've noticed the Germans are quite bonkers themselves

well,somehow i found it funny,don't know...i pretty liked Mr.Bean when i was younger,now i'm a bit tired of him,but still can LMAO sometimes

btw i like Tarantino's humour

have you seen "4 rooms" Nik? that's great humour... :D

Not all Brits have the same sense of humour though... I mean, mine varies... Sometimes it's like, dry sarcastic humour, but other times (when I'm with my closer friends) it's all more childish humour....

On the board though, even Brits don't sometimes get my humour. I mean, there isn't much expression through a few words.

My humour is mainly dry spur-of- the moment type thing. Very un-egyptian, who are very loud and noisy.

I know a few Egyptian guys. One of them worked in my local pizza shop. We played tricks on customers by giving them empty pizza boxes and seeing if they fell for it.

He did it to some 5 year old kid once, the kid walked right out, he had to run around and stop him. Was so funny. :)

Yep, that sounds about right lol. We're a funny bunch really..

Yeah, English-American jokes are pretty bad me thinks.

we, us (as in Mexico) are very sarcastic. VERY sarcastic.

british humor doesn't work on germans ;)

omg ... Little britain is amazingly funny  its hilarious :P i still like monty python better though

When I was young I always watched all Mr. Bean episodes! :) It's so funny and I really enjoyed it. I still remember one episode where he's driving with his seat through the streets of Great Britain. I was so confused, because it was the first time I saw that the British are driving on the wrong side. :D
