so i mentioned my missing CD story on the previous page.. guess what?! the moderator of the matt costa forum told me to send in my empty CD case and sent me the Indie version of t he CD in return! YAY!! and the manager finally emailed me back and he's giving me a free tshirt when i see matt costa in july!!!

That is sweet, I respect him so much more now. Its cool when a band cares about the fans that much.

i met matt costa again! actually i "met" him two more times since i last posted haha. and the third time he said he remembered me. (i hope not in the scary stalker way)

haha i think u and i are the only two who care but i'll tell it anyway coz it makes me happy thinkin about it haha

 

matt usually comes out after shows to talk and hang out with people. its really nice of him. but im guessing that as he gets more popular he wont be able to do this as much :(. wow i think ive spoken/taken a picture/asked him for an autograph a total of 4 times haha.

 

the second time was at sasquatch music festival when i was online to get Iron & Wine;s autograph and i saw matt costa leaving the signing booth coz he had just finished his signing.. and i just yelled out "matt costa!" as if i actually knew him and we were friends. he stopped to chat a little. i met him again at another nyc show but i didnt get to talk much to him coz some girl attacked him haha. and was talkign to him for like at least 15 min and he was backed up against a wall. i did get to meet the bass player (harris), hes a really nice guy too. and i had a mini chat with his manager lol.

 

and the most recent time was at lollapalooza music festival. where he was doing a signing and i actually got on line for it. (i got my indie version of his CD signed and a shirt). and i figured ive met him enough times to go "ive actaully met u before.." and he was like "yea! i remember you!" which was nice. and then i asked for a hug and he went "sure!" but also didnt get to chat much coz there was a pretty long line and they were moving things along really quickly.

 

phew. that was a really long post.. if only we still got bling! haha.

i used to be way shy with celebrities but if u think about it.. its now or never! the chances are u wont get to see that person ever again. and if you make a stuttering fool out of yourself.. chances are that celebrity wont remember cos im SURE 90% of the people they meet (regular people i mean) are just as nervous lol

 

that said.. i still get retarded when i spot sufjan stevens. hhaaha
