Featured Replies

have you ever been so proud of yourself that you thought nothing can beat you?

Well..........I'm sitting here......and I'm thinking about it.....I always have my damn dreams.......and I'm never almost never consequent enough to reach my aims....it sucks....yeah it sucks.....

I want to lose weight for example...since years......yes.....

I only once did.....I tried and tried.....and damn.....

This time.......I hope so much I can do it.....

when I am consequent a whole day I'm proud really proud...like today......

and the last week......

and in some years....when I hopefully have reached my aims (become a professional musician....etc...)I don't know how proud I am then.....

I have tried Julia dear, but the way I worded the explanation of that topic the first time around, thats something I cant re-create for some reason. I've tried 2 or 3 times, but I cant.

I've asked Stephen if he can rescue it from the temp board and its not looking good I guess.

I reckon I know what you talking about.

You feel good when you do something useful instead of just wasting your days, but it

can get quite hard.Am I right?

@Reilly:Oh noooo................ok...I (or we...) have to live with it!

@Oliver:Hmmmm...no this is not exactly what I'm talking about....it's more that I want to reacj diffcult things and I don't know how proud I would be after that!

We live in a time when people always look for personal satisfaction,be successful, have money ,a good job ,cause that's what society think is better.

Somehow they are correct, but not completely correct, just they have some of the truth.

Of course is good have success in life, have dreams to pursuit and stuff, but also I think is important recognize the good things we are doing, the goals we achieve and the dreams we complete.

I think that we have to stop looking to other people, and do what we want to do.

I have dreams, too... too many.

Everything's boring now, because they tell me to follow my dreams, but it's too hard because everybody doubts the dreamer no matter how much they tell the dreamer to keep going.

Saying you never doubted someone for a second is a lie.

And, well... I'm never good enough for someone who doesn't doubt me.

We are so scared about failure that maybe we fabricate our own defeat.

I think that we need to learn, that sometimes a failure is just the beginning of another battle, another dream.

But I think you need situations when you have to be proud....it's a motivation for other things...for new dreams....

I am proud, cause I have a good family and I have great friends.I am proud cause I have a personal relationship with God.(is not the best around, but is my personal relationship)

That is my motivation!!!

Stephen has been kind of ignoring the deal, but Ian has assured me that he'll ruthlessly nag him into doing it :sneaky:

The guys just a bit busy, we'll get the thread back.
