Last minute gal

Featured Replies

When I get an assignement to do for school, or something else, I never plan anything out, I research during the alloted time to a minimum, and I wait till just about the last amount of time I have to do my duties.

and still, I manage and 'A' for a grade.

This is how I have done my works for the past 10 years of school.

Never changed anything, always that way.

And I must honestly admit that my best works come from last minutes stress/adreneline. And I say adreneline as an expression is suppose, because the rush of doing work last minute is wierd stuff!

I know many people must plan things out and maybe do a bit of the assignement at a time, for it to be easiest and most efficient for them.

I am just wondering how some manage to pull off good grades doing either methods.

I'm in the club as well, in fact,I have a paper to turn in tomorrow and I havent' started it yet. I pull it off so well I can't stop

Indeed my friend. When I was in primary school I was a straight A student too but I did all my homework. When I started highschool I realised I wasn't gonna be able to do it all but I still managed to do most of it.Last year was amazing,I hardly did half of what I needed and I passed all my classes. I've never failed a course

Amaziiing

I can't remember the last time I did homework. The only assignments I do are major projects that become large percentages of my grades, tests, quizes, and in-class work.

Make an 'A' on all of those, and you are set for smooth. (and by smooth, I mean no homework.)

High school just changes you like that.

You're right. I never EVER do anything unless I'm on deadline and it's part of my grade or something, it's impossible for me to sit down and study stuff I don't immediately need as soon as I get back from school. I need my chillin time

some stuff is purely unncessary.

it's just a matter of sorting though the stuf you NEED and busywork.

I study for tests just a few minutes before class...a nd ZING ..i'm set! :cheesy:

(nice to know i am not the only one...and nice too see you around) ;)

nice to see you too. y'know sometimes I get jealous of my friends because they do a lot while I do....erm...nothing, but then I see when it comes to tests and important things I always get it right and I'm proud of it. We're a rare kind

oops, gotta go to bed, I'm too tired of doing nothing :P

I'm totally a last minute type... in fact I should be studying for an exam now but I haven't yet...

Any yes, it almost always works - except for the times I misjudge and have to turn something in late (which has been happening far too much lately  )

well.. i used to act in the same way.. I used to do my schooljobs always the last day, but now i think I'm more responsible and I'm trying to study a few days before the tests and doing things like that

my best works honestly rush at me when i work on things last minute. Like, my mind sees the necessity of getting things done and MAKES the good ideas come to mind.
