We are all always talking about tolerance but in the end no one really is tolerant....

 

I mean for example there are always jokes about gays.....even if you always say you tolerate them etc.....

when most people see men with pink shirt most of them say "Oh he looks so gay hahah"

or if men behave women-like.....people use to say "haha...he is sooo gay!"

 

so.....actually there is no real tolerance anymore....

There is tolerance to a certain extent...regarding homo-sexuals..I mean Same Sex Marriages are tolerated in a lot of countries now.

There is a difference between tolerating and joking about something.

 

To me, tolerating gays is like...knowing in my heart and mind, that I hate the act (not the person) of homosexuality.

 

This implies that I may not dislike the person themselves, but their actions.

And I will not say to their face the things i think are wrong with what they do. I...I myself do not say mean things TO them. I could think them and have every right to my thoughts, they are what guide me. I will not go up and like, physically hurt someone, or meanly say something offensive to a gay persons face. This to me, is tolerance.

 

In comments, I am not personally offending anyone. If they are offended..it is by what they take from it. You either brush it off, or take it personally. Which might be leading to a guilt?

Well......but i think when you begin to joke about different groups of society you don't show tolerance.....no...

You see it is very powerful to understand that peoples morals, values, ideas, and actions derive from their inner being.

 

Understand that?

 

And so you can think that the tolerance i believe is correct ... is incorrect.

 

 

But I feel I am doing nothing wrong. And maybe gays see it that way to.

 

 

unless you speak for the gay society and what they think or don't think about this issue, then you would not know at all. then someone would just be spittin ideas in the air

actually I don't think that gays see it wrong if we make jokes like that....it was just a little idea that came to my mind...

i see nothing bad in 'these jokes' . they're like blonde or jewish jokes...lol

i also heard russian jokes when i lived in Hungary and to be honest to hear them every time is so annoying, but with the time i accepted them and laughed on them as well<<<<<<<<<<<<because they are FUNNY

To be honest....I'm not a person who doesn't make jokes like that.....

but i only thought about it...and came up with this theory...and wanted to know what you think!
