play- i associate this with children- the innocence of childhood- immune and naive to the troubles of this world, content in whatever game they happen to be playing. nothing changes- children have always and will always play, and the smiling, laughing happiness of kids at play is one of the things which makes life worth living.

 

cold- icy, lacking in emotion.. i associate it with feeling isolated and bleak.. i also associate it with white snow, connation of purity. when it's cold to me the air feels crisp and fresh, unpolluted.
