Think we need a thread for this. BBL is the British Basketball League and has teams in:

 

Newcastle, Birmingham, Brighton, Sheffield, Milton Keynes, London, Chester, Plymouth, Guildford and a team based in Scotland (not entirely sure where though).

 

 

So.... Has ANYONE ever heard of it?

For the first moment I thought you mean the German "Basketball Bundesliga". :D It's also called BBL and this weekend the play-off's started and I often watch games on TV. ;) But I've never heard about the British Basketball League. :(
