I read for tabs about tuning a guitar string to a different key and was just wondering how to do that. I have an electric tuner that I use to tune to standard tuning but to tune the high e to a c# i have no idea how to do that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you have to tune the high e down a step and a half. the best way to do it is to play the second fret on the b string, then tune the high e down until they sound the same. easy!

You could also use a piano if you have one, just tune it down to the appropriate key until it matches in pitch

Set your electric tuner to D flat and it should tell you when you're there.
