Btw, did you choose in which city you'll study?

Hey!

Thx a lot :)

Btw, did you choose in which city you'll study?

you are welcome

yes first the one in portugal because my dad says it's closer, cheaper and they have a place for students to lodge... then chambery.

but i must to a language exam (one portuguese, other french), and so i'll finally choose the one in which i'll get bet marks... i expect it to be french... but who know...

my dad surfed on the chambery one and seems that they don't have a place to lodge students so i'll have to ask for an appartment to rent or to share with... and it means that i need more money and i don't have a job yet... i hope that i can get a job before or in summer to save money... i can choose if go 4 months or the whole year, 9 months.

pd... sorry for the long post... :embarassed:

Re : Ariadnasquire,

In France students can have a grant from the government to study in a French university. You could get 150 €/month or more to help you to pay the rent as you don't work. I don't know whether foreign students are concerned but you could ask (in French) http://www.calcul-allocation-facile.com/condition-attribution,m8.html

The grant is given if you live in France (you would !) and according to your parents' income. You also can simulate a grant called "aide personnalisée au logement" (APL). Just write on this website and you'll receive an answer. Maybe in your country you could also get a grant, have you already got informed ? In case of exchange ERASMUS, you get a grant too.

Yeah i know about the erasmus grant and the grants from my country but i didn't knew that i can also ask for it in france.

well this year my grant in my country, they denied it to me this year... but they told me that next year i'll can have it. So i guess that next year i can have 3 grants.. the one from my country, the one for erasmus and may be the one from france.

our tutors said that they will ask for any help for us, i mean the grants and activities for the place were we will be.

thank you very very much for your information legal princess :) i'll tell about it to our tutors next monday. (btw i don't know your name :embarrased:)

hola........and bon soir to mick;)
