Lamposts
Anyone got any advice/tips for a newbie to the drums? Any help is appreciated! Maybe some easy Coldplay drum tabs ;)
alyssa
hey! glad to see another drummer on the forums. :) if you can, get an instructor--he'll teach you some rudiments and some basics that can get you started. :D and Coldplay is a great band to start playing a long with. most Coldplay songs have very simple drum beats which are easy to pick up, imo. if you have any trouble with a coldplay (or any song for that matter), i'll tab out the beat for you. :)

bonnie2789
from the top of my head, yellow's the easiest coldplay song, it's practically the standard beat. so it shouldn't take too long to get your head around. i don't know how new you are to the drums, so maybe if you let us know how long you have been playing for, even if it's only like 1 week, and what you can do so far, or whether you are completely new to it. and can you read tabs? if so, here is the tab to yellow. http://www.all-good-tabs.com/drum-tabs-bands-coldplay-yellow-39667.html :) good luck. Marky
Question for the drummers in here. My friend wants to know weather the age of drums will effect the sound that they make. He is considering getting a used set from ebay. Presumably they wear with use over time, but is there an obvious change in sound quality?
