Ok everyone, i had an idea...

So, you've probably seen the thread where they're guessing the song from a line of the song...

Well, I was thinkin....what if we did it with chords/musical notes etc. of a song....it could be good, it could not be good...but we'll give it a try...

 

So....(i hope i've got this right...)..here goes...

i play a sort of simplyfied version and it sound pretty much the same :\

well the very first song is In My Place,and Green Eyes to play like the original recording you have to tune your first string down to D and put a capo on the 2nd fret (however it still wont be in perfect tune with the album version because the album version is a little pitch higher but its basically capo 2nd fret with that tuning)

the chords with respect to the capo are G*(320000) Dsus2/F#(2xx0230) Am (x02210) they are all the verse chords i could go into detail a bit more but im too lazy but if you can get that you should be able to find the rest yourself.TRUST ME,I have the Official chord book too and its wrong about Green Eyes and GPASUYF acoustic guitar tuning is wrong as well.

i have the book man thats not right. and just a tip you dont have to tune your e string down to a D. just place the capo over all the strings except the high E. if u tune it to a d and then place a capo2 its an e sooo, just dont cover the e string and u dont have to mess with detuning.

Ye thats a handy tip mate,but i have the book too and says nothing about a capo and mentions chords stretched across 4 frets and stuff,it simply isnt the case,listen the the Live version of Green Eyes Live at Ahoy.Chris plays it exactly the way i mentioned there except,he tunes his 1st string down to D but doesnt use a capo,honestly listen to it and you will se that im right and then for the album version its just simply the same except you play it with a capo on the 2nd fret.

all i can say is this game dosent work when most of the people playing have wrong tabs they made up themselves. but game on dudes..

Yes the 1st one was In My Place..

it does work....just make sure u hav it right!!!

And if you know the song well enough...u'd know it by the chord progression....so if someone has the wrong tab...it's still possible to get it right...

but yeh...moving on...:
