The adaptable, success-oriented type. and -7 on peacemaker... I love it  I think these things are rather true, maybe
July 14, 200619 yr who is NOT a thinker? if someone is not a thinker then they're either really stupid or not human. Anyway, I think the romantic stuff fits me perfectly :smug:
July 14, 200619 yr Author Not only thinkers are intelligent. Also the 6 and 7 are using their intelligence. ;) I'm type 5 (Thinker) and I think ( ;) ) it's true... read the type descriptions. All is correct ;)
July 14, 200619 yr I bet those people that work at drive thru's would get a -12 on thinker
July 14, 200619 yr Author hahah :) maybe :D i found on the web, that Albert Einstein and Bill Gates are "Thinkers" (Type 5 in the test).
July 14, 200619 yr i'm a Type 2 followed by 4 and 8. yeah that's pretty much me :P caring and nurturing, yet a powerful and aggressive leader. :D:D
July 14, 200619 yr hahah :) maybe :D i found on the web, that Albert Einstein and Bill Gates are "Thinkers" (Type 5 in the test). Oh really? were they also tested with this questionary?
July 14, 200619 yr Author I think Einstein not, because the enneagram tests were found by Helen Palmer in the 80's. But Gates was probably tested. :) maybe not with the same questionary - there are more types of the test.
July 14, 200619 yr Well I asked just because I don't like the idea of classifying my inteligence... there's loads of different potential and inteligences in us, right? :) I just find quite silly to say Eintein was a thinker or Bill Clinton was... whatever he's classified on that...
July 14, 200619 yr Author it's not a test of your intelligence... it's a test for your personality !!
July 14, 200619 yr Type 1: The Reformer. The rational, idealistic type. 2 Type 2: The Helper. The caring, nurturing type. 0 Type 3: The Motivator. The adaptable, success-oriented type. -2 Type 4: The Artist. The intuitive, reserved type. 8 Type 5: The Thinker. The perceptive, cerebral type. 13 Type 6: The Skeptic. The committed, security-oriented type. -8 Type 7: The Generalist. The enthusiastic, productive type. -3 Type 8: The Leader. The powerful, aggressive type. -9 Type 9: The Peacemaker. The easygoing, accommodating type. -1 and, this is so right, haha. http://www.9types.com/descr/5/ ... The Observer (the Five) Observers have a need for knowledge and are introverted, curious, analytical, and insightful. How to Get Along with Me * Be independent, not clingy. * Speak in a straightforward and brief manner. * I need time alone to process my feelings and thoughts. * Remember that If I seem aloof, distant, or arrogant, it may be that I am feeling uncomfortable. * Make me feel welcome, but not too intensely, or I might doubt your sincerity. * If I become irritated when I have to repeat things, it may be because it was such an effort to get my thoughts out in the first place. * don't come on like a bulldozer. * Help me to avoid my pet peeves: big parties, other people's loud music, overdone emotions, and intrusions on my privacy. What I Like About Being a Five * standing back and viewing life objectively * coming to a thorough understanding; perceiving causes and effects * my sense of integrity: doing what I think is right and not being influenced by social pressure * not being caught up in material possessions and status * being calm in a crisis What's Hard About Being a Five * being slow to put my knowledge and insights out in the world * feeling bad when I act defensive or like a know-it-all * being pressured to be with people when I don't want to be * watching others with better social skills, but less intelligence or technical skill, do better professionally Fives as Children Often * spend a lot of time alone reading, making collections, and so on * have a few special friends rather than many * are very bright and curious and do well in school * have independent minds and often question their parents and teachers * watch events from a detached point of view, gathering information * assume a poker face in order not to look afraid * are sensitive; avoid interpersonal conflict * feel intruded upon and controlled and/or ignored and neglected not that you all care, but whatever. the artistic personality--i don't know how I scored that. the only traits that match me are the negative ones. :( What's Hard About Being a Four * experiencing dark moods of emptiness and despair * feelings of self-hatred and shame; believing I don't deserve to be loved * feeling guilty when I disappoint people * feeling hurt or attacked when someone misunderstands me * expecting too much from myself and life * fearing being abandoned * obsessing over resentments * longing for what I don't have and i was reading the description of the type 1 (Reformer) personality, and I'm very much so a perfectionist, but I'm lazy at the same time, so I only scored a two in that category, haha. Perfectionists: # criticize themselves in anticipation of criticism from others # refrain from doing things that they think might not come out perfect # focus on living up to the expectations of their parents and teachers yeah anyways.... thanks for the test! helps to realize somethings about yourself, heh.
