My cat, George, whom some of you might remember from my old avatars n sigs has a few...not so much tricks as odd behaviours. When you wipe your hands like you're finished eating, he'll quit begging for food, walk away, and ignore you until he wants affection. When you open a can of beer, he goes ape-shit, licks one drop off your finger and then looks at you like you're trying to poison him...and no, I don't feed my cat beer, I'm a member of Peta!! My favorite is watching him go nuts when I whistle at him...he loves 'Speed Of Sound'...lol!

 

Any quirky pets out there? Sit n lie down are ok, but I'm looking for strange, cool ones on this thread!

My cat, Badsmell is the fattest & laziest creature in the world lol. My old cat Raggamuffin used to walk backwards on her hind legs though. Heres some pics of Badsmell: (Sorry about the size of the photos! :o)

My cat,Ari,does some odd things,like when he's annoyed he picks an object and he won't stop 'kicking' it with his paws until it's on the floor and sometimes he grabbes things like a squirrel:wacko:.But he always wants affection and he sits on my lap all the time and he gives kisses too :lol:

our cats don't do tricks, one of our cats is so dumb he thinks that if he can't see us that we also can't see him.....

 

the dog on the other hand will beg / speak (or say "roll tide" which is the same thing) / shake hands / sit / stay / lay down / play dead / say please (he growls)

he's also really sneaky when he wants to be and you can't trick him to go to a place he doesn't want to with a treat.... I think he's the smartest dog we've ever had... he used to poop downstairs when he got jealous of another animal...

 

he also knows a lot of things I tell him that aren't really tricks like.... "do you want to go outside?" he'll run away if he thinks I'm going to make him and he's usually right ... he will also run to the door if he wants to go out and he sees I'm going there..

 

anyway I like to brag on him :anxious:
