Probably there will be many happy, and hopefully peacefull (paparazzis can go to hell) family-weekends now. :)

 

All the boys deserve a looooooooooong rest now without any pressures, and after a little while we can start waiting for another great album and new, even more amazing tour.

I too have mixed feelings. I'm sure theyre glad the tour had ended coz now they can get back to work! They might have time to pop in here sometime now! **wishful thinking**

I'd say they deserve a big fat rest

 

Heck yes. They've worked their butts off this last year or so, and moved to a whole new level as a band because of it. Im so proud of them :nice:

 

I hope they enjoy their rest, spend lots of time with family and just generally relax for a while....maybe then it will hit them just how much they have achieved.

I look forward to hearing the next 'phase', whatever that may be. :dance:

It's exciting thinking they may do something so totally different; a part of Coldplay we've never seen or heard before....but of course i'm also gonna be pretty sad while they are gone :cry:

 

They've added a little (or a big!) bit of magic to the last year of my life, and im so grateful to them for that. It's been amazing. :D

The tour was too big thats all.. theyll be around soon enough. How will the forum stay alive during their off season ? i just cant wait for when we get those awesome emails of a new Cd. And then all the Pre-release concerts... ahh im pumped. :crown:

they didnt really reject latin america and south america, their label, managment or whatever probably didnt see going down there for just a few shows. im sure Coldplay(by that i mean chris, guy, jonny, will) would have wanted to go, but most is out of their hands.

yea that puts it pretty straight.. its alot of money to book stadiums, planes, busses and equiptment. maybe they didnt see the worth of doing that.

But the only time they came here it was a totally success! They sold out the 2 shows in a week

They havent toured mainland China yet!

i really hope they will one day do a concert in Shanghai! I think when they play Hong Kong, they shouldnt forget mainland China!

 

But i'm glad they finally head back to the studio. Looking forward to the fourth album!

I'm gutted that they'll be away for a while, but then so happy that they are because they deserve a break and some time to spend with their (new) families! :0) And I'm also looking forward to the DVD and new album! wooo!! bring it on! hehe

 

I feel for you guys who's country they haven't toured in. I would guess it is down to the record company.........which reminds me........how much time have they left with EMI before they can chuck those fuckers? hehe

Saw them three times on this tour, and I really really really hope I get to see them again with my friends before we all head off to college in a year and a half.

Does anyone know how long the gap was between the end of the tour and the release of the last DVD, I got the newest DVD release to hold me down till then.

Although Coldplay should get some rest they are just one of those bands where they could keep coming out with music and they would never get old. I saw two shows from their twisted logic tour and i would have to say those two nights were amazing. In all honesty coldplay has made a huge impact on my life and i am sad to see them take time off but excited to see what they come up with next. Cheers to coldplay.
