Hey , i just recorded some songs of coldplay with me playing the role of jon buckland. The sound quality is kind of average as i record it with my mp3 player .

Great job on alot of the effects, but it sounds like you need to work on your volume and dynamics a bit. Like at the beginning of Square One, the guitar is very quiet and atmospheric and then at the end it decrescendos. I'm not exactly sure how you do that on a guitar, but it there's a way you should definatly try it out.

 

Otherwise, it's brilliant. :D

 

Next up you should try Spies. You could use the recording from Glastonbury 2002. Of course, if you don't have an e-bow or slide that might make it a bit difficult (Or in other words impossible). But consider it if you have the means. The performance from Glastonbury '02 is electrifying and really shows Jonny's great guitar skills.

 

And then there's Daylight, A Rush of Blood to the Head and X&Y. (Which all require a slide... aheh.)

Well i don't have alot of jons equipement so its difficult to sound like the other songs . But improvisation has everything jon has i think so ask him to record some songs i'm very curious about that :)

Well Improvisation is a member of the forum who has almost everthing jon uses (effects) So ask him to record songs of him playing coldplay

hey I was wondering , you know that last part of square one where Chris normally backs up Johny's guitar with the same part but on piano when they play live. I found that part by myself just like i found talk intro ( it can be played in 1O ways)

im working on putting your guitar tracks to the actual coldplay tracks... it shouldn't take long

well i can't put talk to the original, it just doesn't match up for some reason. it's almost like yours is played more quickly than mine.
