October 6, 200619 yr I honestly think is the best you can do before believing in God or any other person/hero. I try to believe in myself but I also try to be realistic and to purpose aims that I can achieve, otherwise, it can be pretty frustrating.

October 7, 200619 yr Not usually... everything seems really far away to me. It's so easy to tell somebody to keep believing and they'll achieve what they want! But really, it's not true...
October 7, 200619 yr i think i believe in myself most of the time some ppl call me pesimistic sometimes, but i think im just realistic. I think it's also important to know when u cant acheive something other than always believe that you can do whatever u want.... i have a friend that believes in herself abit too much, and all that leads to is disappointment
October 7, 200619 yr depends on my experiences... I mean if I know for example that I achieved some things in school I know that I can do it again...and better... but it can also be the other way round...
October 8, 200619 yr Why couldn't you have just put the question in the title?! I had to come in here to see it was and it wasn't worth it. Anyway, no I don't believe in my self. I'm extremely self concious, paranoid and very sensitive.
October 8, 200619 yr I believe in myself about some things, not all. I've got a model, so I've got someone I can believe in. I think it's important to have someone to believe in... Maybe what I'll say will suck, but I believe in Chris Martin... He achieves his family life (children/wife), his carreer (Great singer, in the best band ever...) Although I don't want to be a rockstar (stupid shyness/insecurity...), I've got an example of achievement, perseverance, work, motivation... Chris Martin is an example i've to follow.

I had to come in here to see it was and it wasn't worth it. you can simply put your cursor on the thread title and know what it's about without clicking on it btw. ^ doesn't suck at all Mike! Chris is a great role model. yes i believe in myself. i know i can achieve a lot but i need the motivation to really excel. i can't do anything without support and motivation, from myself but mainly my family. there are only a handful of things that i rely on and turn to for inspiration, those things are close to my heart and make me feel stronger everyday and increase my self-belief :nice: they never fail me.

I tried not to laugh... You must really have a Coldplay obsession!
October 8, 200619 yr Erm.... Sometimes I don't believe in myself, I mean, I don't believe that I exist. You know, like: who am I?... What am I even doing here?... What the hell is that all for?... Why am I here and why am I supposed to die... And why I am me and not anybody else?... I think it's the wrong thread but that's what comes to my mind when I see "Do you believe in yourself?".
October 29, 200619 yr Well when you say "Believe in yourself..." then No but when you say "Focus" then say Yes, Focus and focus and keep focusing girl:stunned:
