Just tomorrow than Weekend for me and my 1st day at my new work:)

I am sorry to hear you have the Flu. What do you mean search my bed?

Go to bed :p haha ;)

I have weekend :D

But well Life goes on :p and in a moment i'm better ;)

My illness is cured then :p

But how are you doing ?

Are you sure it's G#-G-D#

Hmm i'll take a look :)

If you flatten an A, it's the same as a G#. And a D# is the same as a Eb. A flat is moving down 1 semitone on a whole note, and a sharp is moving up 1 semitone. I always refer to the notes as sharps rather than flats, though I hear it's "proper" to refer to some notes as flats.

Just thought I would point that out

No we don't we know what it is here in Holland, but we don't celebrate it. Maybe a few people. Which songs did you learn ? :)

One know how to play Piano right?

Getting back to Spies88's rendition, I think there is no wrong way to play Clocks! Go for it, Spies!!:hat:

It's full of harmonic overtones, and sounds good the way U played it!! And besides, subtle variations make the music sping to life again! In the Coldplay-Anaheim concert version, Clocks was magnificent from what little bit I saw & heard of it, but it was jazzed-up a lot! And belive me, I know the nerve it takes to attempt to play music with an audience for the first time, and you did great!! Just keep listening and comparing to what you want to play - and, it is true that sheet music is over-simplified. Playing it by ear is better than by the sheets.

Clocks was an experiment in the first place - variations on a them, and I think the secret to the sound is the pauses and soft or missing beats. You did a lot better than any of the others I've listened to on that note! It helps to have a nice keyboard with all the works, but a piano or basic keyboard works just as well, sans some of the fancier sounds. Xylophone too.

Play to enjoy it, and to heck with all the nay-sayers I say!!

Keep Up the Great Work Spies!!!:)
