(on the right hand side :D)

also just wanna say today I was reading the newspaper and they had a 'look back on 2006' and coldplay's twisted logic tour was NUMBER ONE out of all the concerts this year WWWWOAAHAHA

number one - of course, that's coldplay on so many levels

Btw, something official from the site by Debs.

Sorry for delay guys, but the Spanish TV company don't confirm or share their chosen dates with us!

Back in March 2006, Coldplay's Toronto performance was filmed for a potential DVD release. Back in August it was announced this footage would be televised.

Spain is the first country to air the concert on Canal, Friday 8 December

12:05h - 13:05h.

For more information and transmission details (in Spanish), please click http://www.plus.es/codigo/television/recupera_ficha_nube.asp?cod_ee=586673&C

There will be further territories showing the 58 minute programme. Dates and details to follow shortly.

Of course. :dance::dance::dance:

don't mean to give a running commentary but.......GOD BLESS THOSE MARACAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

^^^ I couldn't agree more *rewinds video*

ahhh just great!!!!!!!!!!! I was just about to go to fucking bed when I started watching this! Had to stay up and watch the whole thing didn't I?! lol All the way through kept thinking....'WHY ISN'T THIS A DVD?!!!!!!!!!'

Yep, after the performance while the credits are going and you see them take off all the earphones and stuff, I can't help but wonder... they're running... why can't the camera man follow them running? Why can't we see where they're running? (Even though we know it's backstage to relax).

Well, awesome performance... :)

AHHH I miss them soooo much! I just started it and I got the worst ( best) case of goosebumps in my life. But it was incredible! ohhh they show the maracas!?

OK off to watch it all the way.

i streamed and downloaded this, so awesome, its ridiculous they didnt put this on DVD!

mmmmmm yesssss. I have been waiting to hear/see the new sing-a-long at the end of The Scientist with the crowd. Worth the wait!

I just watched it and I have to say that it's awesome BUT I can now see why they decided not to release it on DVD afterwards.

I dunno how to say this without people thinking I'm dissing them because I'M NOT, I thought it was a great gig, and I would love to own it on DVD just like you guys, but from a... professional/corporate, I don't know what you'd call it stance, maybe it's not the best gig to put out there, to say 'hey this is why Coldplay are the best at what they do'. There were quite a few things like stopping songs for banter, breaking strings, forgetting lyrics etc. that people outside of the Coldplay fanbase might think :/ if they saw it. And how Chris personalised the show alot by mentioning Richard Ashcroft, and making references to the city etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bothered by these things at all, I LOVE them. I think it makes for a more memorable show, and it's awesome when you're actually in the audience experiencing it. But for a DVD release, that more people will see instead of the audience that Chris was talking too, the band (actually the record company) probably decided a more neutral, smooth running show would of been better to release.

I still want a DVD though :(

I dunno if I agree. The jokes, the forgetting lyrics and the interacting with the audience is what Chris and CP are all about. If they went through the whole DVD without any of that it's not a true reflection of where they have been this past year/ 2yrs as a band. Plus people have this opinion of Chris (i.e. that he's a total cock lol) but seeing that he can be funny and mess up might make people see otherwise. And if the band decided they wanted a smoother show, why broadcast it on TV throughout the world? Surely it's more likely people will watch the concert on TV than actually go out and buy the DVD?

And i still want a DVD too :0(

Yeah I was going to mention that I think that how they performed that night is what Coldplay are about... I expect banter and muckups, it's all part of the fun. I guess if this was the reason they didn't want it on DVD is because it's like a record of themselves that everyone will look back on. If it was just televised, it's not that much of a big deal kind of thing. Not as official. As for why they didn't just scrap it all together... well maybe they didn't want to completely waste all the money that was put into recording the show? I don't know. I'm just trying to come up with a logical reason behind the stupid no-DVD business I think!

tbh I want a DVD more for a documentary! lol If they showed something like that I'd be quite happy!

Huge thanks for the link.

Looks great so far. I really don't think they didn't release the DVD for that reason. That's why they filmed two nights- so they would have a choice between performances. But who knows. Hmm.

Here's my issue. I saw the arobtth dvd AFTER I saw their performance at Glastonbury last year. And as great as that DVD was, you can see how much they have grown since then- they're alot more animated, with bigger songs. I may not think quite so much of X&Y as an album, but the new material made for a fantastic concert. They ought to want to show that.

Grr.

DVD, please.
