A gullible mother and manipulative brother

Aghhh! I could kill my brother right now! I was on the road to getting my mum to take me to Melbourne for a Muse concert at the end of January when my brother heard me talking about them and told her that were evil death music and their style was banned from the church in the 14th century! Now she wont even let me play it to her to proove her wrong and she says im being sucked in by todays society and pressures. WHAT THE HELL?! :shocked2::angry: Now I can't go.

damn brother!!!! i feel for you annie!! :(

forgive me annie, but  i found that hilarious, especially the "im being sucked in by todays society and pressures"

on a serious note, you'll get to go eventually, in time. you could play their songs in the car or something without telling her the band, then after, when it seems she has gotten use to it, tell her she has just become a fan of evil death music and now must let you go :smug:

Muse? Evil music??? 14 century? :dizzy2: :dizzy2: :dizzy2: :dizzy2:

I always thought that brothers suck... (I've one, so... and he's damn stupid...)

whoa, 6 brothers, that's quite a houseful of men.

what on earth provoked him to ruin your chances anyway? if he does this kinda thing all the time then indeed he must pay :shifty: i'm sure your mum will come around eventually though!

Yes, and all older. It's not very often I ask to go to a concert but this would be for my little sisters birthday present and she said she would love to go. (it is five days later) My mum wouldn't come around in time to get tickets. If she heard there music she wouldn't like it anyway unless I just played the start of 'New Born' lol
